Nur adalah seorang mahasiswi yang menjalani kehidupan keras bersama ibunya, Sekar, yang hanya bekerja sebagai seorang buruh cuci. Keduanya memiliki pandangan yang berbeda untuk meraih kehidupan yang lebih baik, sang ibu lebih memilih agar Nur memfokuskan diri pada kuliahnya, sedangkan Nur berpikiran untuk secepatnya bekerja untuk bisa membantu nafkah mereka.

Dalam perjalannnya, Nur kemudian bertemu Dian, seorang mahasiswa yang walau masih sepantarannya namun sudah mulai mapan. Dian jugalah yang membuat Nur kembali berani untuk bermimpi dan bercita-cita kembali. Setelah beberapa kali jatuh bangun di bawah dukungan Dian, Nur pada akhirnya mulai merasa ragu dengan mimpi miliknya yang tampak tidak mungkin untuk diraih.

Miracle od Giving aka Ba:Bo - Ji-ho adalah seorang pianis yang berbakat, belajar dan bermain di luar negeri selama bertahun-tahun. Tapi satu malam dia mengalami demam panggung dan tidak pernah sembuh. Dalam putus asa, Ji-ho datang ke rumah dan bertemu teman lamanya Sung-Ryong. Ji-ho is a promising pianist, studying and playing abroad for years. But one night she had a stage fright and never recovers. In despair, Ji-ho comes home and meets her old classmate Sung-ryong.

Once a very bright boy, Sung-ryong had an accident and now he is in late 20s with the mind of a six year old. He is very forgetful, but he has never forgotten his first love Ji-ho. Other half of Sung-ryong’s dumb mind is occupied with his only family – younger sister Jee-in. To take care of her, Sung-ryong sells toasts in front of Jee-in’s school. But Jee-in is embarrassed of her idiotic brother and ignores him.

And Sang-soo is Sung-ryong’s old friend who understands Sung-ryong’s innocent mind. But he inevitably falls to the world of gangsters. Ji-ho is still in her slump, Jee-in falls sick and Sang-soo gets involved in a bloody dispute. But all of their agonies are miraculously saved by Sung-ryong in a way nobody has forseen.

Kisah film ini berfokus pada sosok perempuan muda bernama Deu (JeeJa Yanin), seorang gadis cantik pemberani yang konon tidak pernah merasakan rasanya cinta sejati. Saat sedang gundah berjalan sendirian, sekelompok orang menculiknya untuk dijadikan pelacur. Di saat itulah seorang pemuda asing datang menolongnya. Pemuda bernama Sanim (David Bueno) itu rupanya membuat Deu jatuh cinta. Sanim sendiri memiliki masa lalu pahit dengan geng yang menculik Deu.

Demi menjaga diri, Deu pun meminta Sanim untuk mengajarinya ilmu silat khas Thai. Walau tingkahnya mengesalkan, Sanim mau mengajari Deu ilmu beladiri yang sewaktu-waktu dapat digunakan bila kawanan penculik datang lagi. Rupanya ilmu silat yang diajarkan Sanim dengan teman-temannya bukan hanya sulit namun juga berpadu dengan ilmu breakdance yang sempat tren di kalangan anak muda tahun 80-an.

Siang-malam Deu berlatih keras dengan gemblengan Sanim cs. Deu dan Sanim bertekad untuk membongkar jaringan penculik wanita yang telah banyak memakan korban itu. Bersama dengan Sanim dan kawan-kawannya, Deu pun harus berjuang membebaskan para wanita yang ditawan untuk dijual oleh sekelompok geng. Berhasilkah usaha mereka?

Tiga belas tahun sebelum cerita ini dimulai, seekor monster rubah ekor sembilan bernama Kyuubi menyerang Konoha, sebuah desa shinobi yang terletak di negara Api. Akhirnya ada seseorang yang berhasil menyegel Kyuubi itu ke tubuh Naruto, seseorang yang berhasil menyegel siluman rubah ekor sembilan itu dikenal sebagai Yondaime, Hokage ke 4 atau Namikaze Minato yang tidak lain adalah ayah dari Naruto. Begitu kuatnya Kyuubi sehingga penyegelan itu harus dibayar dengan kematian Yondaime sendiri.

Tiga belas tahun kemudian, tersebutlah seorang anak laki-laki bernama Naruto Uzumaki yang sering membuat onar di desa Konoha. Naruto melakukan hal itu karena menginginkan perhatian dari penduduk desa yang menjauhinya karena rubah di tubuhnya. Naruto kemudian di tipu oleh seorang pengkhianat untuk mencuri gulungan rahasia dari Hokage ke 3 (Sarutobi Hokage), Naruto yang polos melakukan hal tersebut dan berhasil mencuri serta mempelajari jurus seribu bayangan. Setelah tahu bahwa dia dimanfaatkan Naruto menolak memberikan gulungan tersebut. Naruto kemudian ditolong oleh guru Iruka yang merupakan guru favorit Naruto. Dialah orang yang pertama kali mengakui keberadaan Naruto, karena dulu guru Iruka pernah mengalami hal yang sama yaitu hidup tanpa orang tua, dan selalu diselimuti kesendirian.

Naruto closely follows the life of a boy who is feared and detested by the villagers of the hidden leaf village of Konoha. The distrust of the boy has little to do with the boy himself, but it’s what’s inside him that causes anxiety. Long before Naruto came to be, a Kyuubi (demon fox) with great fury and power waged war taking many lives. The battle ensued for a long time until a man known as the Fourth Hokage, Yondaime, the strongest ninja in Konoha, fiercely fought the Kyuubi. Setsuko dan Seita adalah kakak beradik yang hidup pada jaman peperangan. Setelah ibu mereka terbunuh pada saat penyerangan udara, mereka tinggal sementara dengan bibinya. Tetapi itu pun tidak lama, setelah mereka bertengkar dengan bibinya, akhirnya mereka pergi meninggalkan kota dan membuat rumah mereka sendiri di sebuah penampungan yang ditinggalkan. Sedangkan ayah mereka, yang bekerja sebagai tentara, tidak jelas nasibnya. Mereka berdua harus saling membantu dalam mempertahankan hidup dan untuk mencari makan. Ketika suply makanan sudah menipis, mereka mulai kelaparan dan menyerah, dan satu-satunya yang menghibur mereka adalah cahaya dari kunang-kunang yang ada di sana.


English Version
Setsuko and Seita are brother and sister living in wartime Japan. After their mother is killed in an air raid they find a temporary home with relatives. Having quarreled with their aunt they leave the city and make their home in an abandoned shelter. While their father's destiny who was a soldier is unknown the two must depend on each other to somehow keep a roof over their heads and food in their stomachs. When everything is in short supply, they gradually succumb to hunger and their only entertainment is the light of the fireflies.
